Our events during the 2011 summer months are as follows:
Youth Camps, ages 5-8
Session 1, June 27th-July 1st, 2011
Session 3, July 18-22nd, 2011
This camp is an opportunity for our young actors to experience life on the stage without all the pressure of a full stage musical. They will each be featured with dialogue and music, choreographed and taught by professionals who have experience with this age group. Held in the morning from 9-12 pm, these budding stars will perform for their families and friends at noon on Friday of each week. Tuition for each student is $105.00. Location: TBA
Youth Camps, ages 9-12
Session 2, June 27th-July 1st, 2011
Session 4, July 18-22nd, 2011
This year, our camp performance is IT’S SATURDAY! A musical celebration of the joys of the weekend! All young people involved will be featured in solos and dialogue, performing their show on Friday afternoon for their friends and family. This is a great show for young actors and gives them an opportunity to showcase their talents! Rehearsals are held from 1-4 pm Monday through Friday of both sessions. Tuition $105.00. Location: TBA
Advanced Camp, ages 11-14
ALADDIN, JR
July 25th-July 30th, 2011
This camp event, called the “advanced camp” will be putting on Aladdin, JR. for the summer show. Deemed the advanced camp because it is featuring actors who typically aren’t of “lead actor” age are the stars of the show! Rehearsals for this production will run from 11-3 Monday through Friday with a dress rehearsal on Friday and Performance on Saturday in the Mary Jane Teall Theatre. Rehearsals will be held in Century II. Tuition per student is $140.00
