We have several different kinds of camps, something for everyone at every level.  During the months of June and July we hold our summer camps.  The camps run a week at a time.  During a week of camp ages 5-9 attend from 9am-12pm and ages 10-14 attend from 1pm-4pm.  During that week your children will work on a short program that they will perform at the end of the week on Friday. The performance time on Friday for ages 5-9 is 4:00pm, and the performance time for ages 10-14 on Friday is 6:00pm. They will get the chance to learn choreography, songs, lines, and have fun creating.  This is also a time that our teens come and serve as camp counselors to share there knowledge of theatre and give back.  There are no auditions for these camps but space is limited so early registration is recommended. We also hold our teen camp and our advance camp in June and July.

Teen Camp

Teen camp is three weeks in June or July.  Auditions will be held, after casted the students will be given their material, and then they will be given a week to memorize material on their own.  After that week we will rehearse off book with acting, music, and choreography. The performance will be two weeks later on Saturday in Mary Jane Teall Theatre.  This is an intensive camp to give the teens the experience of a summer stock like MTW or OU.

Advanced Camp

This camp is for those in middle school, ages 11 to 14.  This camp is two weeks long and everyone who enrolls will be apart of the show.  We begin the camp with auditions for lead roles and end 2 weeks later with a Saturday performance in Mary Jane Teall Theatre.  For this camp we usually do a Jr. version of a show to give the middle school kids a summer stock experience.

Locations

All of our rehearsals and shows will take place at our new home at Century II. Depending on the time of year the camp is held is what determines where in Century II rehearsals will be held.  In the summer months we will hold rehearsals in Exhibition Hall and in conference rooms around Century II.  Our winter camp rehearses in MJT trap room.  Check out our Current Shows tab to get up to date information about specific locations and rehearsal times for camps as they get closer.
