AIDA, music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice, tells of a Nubian woman captured by an Egyptian soldier. The soldier is engaged to the daughter of the Pharoah, but he falls in love with the Nubian woman, who actually is a princess. Beginning in an Egyptian museum, we hear Every Story is a Love Story, and a beautiful love story unfolds to a tragic ending.
