It is Christmas
Eve at the Bethlehem Motel in Bethlehem, Kansas, a small town on Interstate
70 in Western Kansas. A blizzard is coming from the West. The Bethlehem
Motel is owned by Jack and Rachel. Christmas is not a happy time for the
couple because their young son died on Christmas Eve several years ago.
Though Jack tries to bring Christmas to the old motel, Rachel wants nothing
to do with Christmas and the painful memories it brings.
This Christmas is different. Normally a
very slow night, this Christmas Eve brings some unexpected guests seeking
shelter from the storm at the motel. The Topeka Stargazers Club (in search
of a special star), a group of cowboys, a Missouri Children’s Choir,
and a young couple expecting a baby, all find themselves stranded at the
little motel. Together, these guests will help Jack and Rachel re-discover
love, magic and Christmas.
